Meet The Team

Susan Shelly, LPC
Founder and Therapist
I bring a deep passion for personal growth to my work as a counselor. I understand that developing self-awareness can be challenging—but it’s always worth the effort.
Counseling, to me, is more than simply telling your story. It’s a collaborative and compassionate process that we engage in together. Through both exploration and education, we work to uncover new insights and create lasting change. With degrees in Family Studies and Mental Health Counseling, I take an active, integrative approach—drawing from Internal Family Systems and Sensorimotor techniques—to help restore emotional and relational balance.
Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, or relationship challenges, therapy can provide the support and clarity you need. If you’re facing a difficult season or simply feel stuck and ready for change, let’s work together to move you forward.

Jennifer Rivera, LCSW
Intimacy and Perinatial Specialist /General Counseling
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through both the challenges and joys that come with change.

I believe that even the most exciting transitions can sometimes feel overwhelming and can bring on feelings of depression, anxiety, and fear. Whether it’s a change in your family system, a new job, or simply the natural progression of life, these moments can stir up uncertainty and emotional strain. My goal is to provide a space where you can share your story openly, feel deeply understood, and discover new clarity and direction.

In addition to general counseling I specialize in intimacy and perinatal health On a personal note, as part of a military family myself, I also bring personal understanding to my work with veterans and their loved ones.

Sheba Farvardin, LCSW
Adolescent and Adult Counseling
I bring compassion, understanding, and positive energy to my work with clients, helping them build strategies for self-regulation, independence, and healthy relationships. Therapy, to me, is more than a space to “vent”—it’s a safe environment to be vulnerable, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and move toward meaningful growth. One of the most powerful moments in therapy is the “ah ha” realization—when the pieces begin to connect, and your path forward becomes clearer.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to foster resilience, mindfulness, and self-awareness. Together, we’ll develop coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, and explore the beliefs that shape your identity. I have extensive experience supporting individuals through complex trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity and self-esteem exploration, and attachment challenges.

Kristina Maldonado, LPC
Adolescent and Adult Counseling
Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. My first priority is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and accepted—just as you are.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies, we’ll work together to understand and manage your thoughts and emotions. You’ll learn to notice and validate your inner experiences, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build healthier patterns that support a more balanced, positive outlook.

I specialize in working with teens and young adults, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also value the role of family and will include family counseling when it supports the healing process.

Lisa Bradley, LPC
Adults of all ages over 18
As a relational and solutions-oriented CBT therapist, I see therapy as a collaborative journey toward self-understanding, growth, and acceptance. Together, we explore the layers of who you are—your values, experiences, and the barriers that may be keeping you from living as your authentic self. Through warmth, compassion, and consistent support, I provide a space where you can move at your own pace and find deeper clarity and balance.

I am a licensed clinician in Pennsylvania with over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations across residential, outpatient, school, and telehealth settings. My therapeutic approach is grounded in both traditional and positive CBT, while remaining flexible and tailored to each client’s comfort and needs.
I particularly enjoy working with LGBTQAI+ individuals, young adults, and adults. My areas of focus include sexual identity and exploration, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and stress management.
